This is a Classic British Patriotic Poster from World War I. Originally Published in 1914, this Recruiting poster for the Cold Stream Guards shows various uniforms worn by the Guards. In each corner are vignettes of the Guards on duty in London and on each side is listed the campaigns in which the Guards fought. Other regimental references are included. The print reads: "His Majesty's Coldstream Guards - Nulli Secundus - For Further Particulars application should be made to the nearest recruiter - to any Sergeant Instructor of the Territorial Force - or at any Barracks - Ask to be enlisted for the Coldstream Guards - If any difficulty write to the Officer Commanding Coldstream Guards - Buckingham Gate London S.W. - God Save The King. ".

This poster, which evokes the vivid images of a simpler time, is a custom reproduction printed on 68lb Heavyweight Japanese Matte Art Paper using Ultrachrome inks. Suitable for framing, mounting or direct display, this print has a colorfast life of 125+ years.
