This is a new polished brass Standard Issue British field soldier military magnetic compass reproduction. Originally made about 1910 for the British . The compass features an intricate black and white compass face, with a directional disc with an outer white band featuring dual full 360 directional rings, and the cardinal directions stamped in green. The compass face is covered by a rotatable glass cover, which has green lines imprinted for magnetic deviation calibrations and sighting techniques. The polished brass compass case features numerous copper rivets and fasteners giving this a genuine military look. All extensions fold smartly in for transportation, and the compass has a convenient folding belt loop, plus quick stop button for stopping the needle.
