British Rations Heater - Tommy Cooker WW I

Cook on the jelled fuel "Blackie Brand" Patent Tommy Cooker that has seen use from the Sudan of the 1880’s Straight through into today's British Army!

Our stoves feature the same sturdy simplicity of the originals!

The Cookers consist of a cooking ring that sits on the fuel container and is extremely lightweight. The fuel tins themselves contain sufficient fuel for 3 hours of continual operation, enough to heat tea water for even the most fashionable regiment!

Each cooker comes with a tin of jelled fuel sporting the “Blackie Brand Always Best” World War I label.

This cooker will support a mess kit half full of Steak and Kidney, or a canteen cup full of boiling tea. When we ran out of fuel on one grueling occasion, we used twigs and cardboard from ration boxes and brewed up quite successfully!

Sorry, the authenitic Boer War-era cup and WW I era pistol are shown for dimensional perspective only and are not offered, included or available.

We will gladly combine multiple purchases to minimize your shipping costs.
