Receptual Art No. 8, 49 x 29 x 26 inches, edition size 4 casts, lost wax casting by Modern Art Foundry under authority of Johann Eyfells. Kristin Halldorsdottir Eyfells was born and raised in Iceland. She exhibited both sculpture and paintings starting in 1962. She passed away in 2002. Her work is included in numerous public and private collections including the Carter Foundation, the Grace Museum, and the Clinton Library. Receptualism brings to light new conceptions of being. It breathes new life into the twist, turns, and reflections of the verb to be.
