This is a very durable ring that has withstood the test of time like the many other items in our inventory.
As you may or may not know, rings were one of the most important articles of dress in Roman society. The type of ring you wore could show off your professional status, your wealth, and many other things, much like what modern day jewelry does for people today. Unique ring with a raised bezel. Etchings on the bezel in the shape of a cross.
Even with it's age the ring is still in beautiful condition.
The ring is a size of US 3.75. A very nice item to collect.

This is an especially good place to start for new collectors. It will allow them to gain experience for a small investment per item. This is important because there are countless unscrupulous importers, diggers, sellers & collectors that prey on the innocent...meaning new collectors.

If you want to make money on your investments, switch to rare/semi-rare US coins which are in the early stages of a bull market and being propelled by a BULL MARKET in gold.
And part of the fun is to buy these relatively inexpensive items and research them yourselves. Imagine what these things would cost if professional archeologists did the work? Even worse, they must have official permission to dig, and the host country gets their choice of what is found, and in many cases they get to keep everything that is discovered. That would mean the end of inexpensive ancient material. It may come to that, but for today enjoy yourselves.

We will no longer accept bids from anyone residing outside the US for non-antique items unless they want delivery inside the US. The reason for this is that FedEx just stuck us with more than $600 in customs duties for coins less than 100 years of age instead of requiring the customer to pay duties in his country. Items 100 or more years of age are widely considered to be antiques and free of customs duties. With our tiny markups and reserves, we cannot possibly pay customs for our non-US customers. We regret this, but any reasonable person will understand.
