This listing is for a overedge / overcast foot for the Brother sewing machines that use the snap-on presser feet. The foot works with many of the stitches that you have built-in to your machine including the zigzag stitch. The foot has a plate/guide down the center that slides along your fabric's edge. This plate/guide will allow you to to sew a very straight and nice overcast that will protect the fabric's edge. The foot is made of metal.
