Brown & Sharpe Lathe Indicator No. 738 in wood case

Marked Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co./ Providence, R.I. U.S.A./ Pat. July 24, 1906. Very good condition. box shows some wear, but no damage. For centering work on a lathe, testing lathe centers, etc. Shank is hardened steel. 5.5" long. This item was in a collection of machinist's tools dating to 1920s. MC048
