Naturespun is absolutely useable, absolutely economical. And Naturespun comes in a beautiful array of colors.

This fingering weight is perfect for lace, plus gloves, hats, colorwork, and lightweight garments. I've been knitting a fine-gauge fair isle sweater out of Naturespun fingering, and for a sweater yarn, I'll put it up against the fancy-pants shetlands any day. Recently, Naturespun Fingering has made heads turn as the yarn of choice for the dazzling Bandelier Socks in Interweave Knits magazine.
