The idea behind variable speed operation is simple. Conditions in

your home change often. As a result, heating and cooling systems

that operate on a single, fixed speed have a hard time

keeping indoor temperatures consistent. With its variable speed

blower, the Model 574 delivers a nearly continuous stream of conditioned air to provide extra-quiet,

extra-efficient comfort. This nearly continuous airflow greatly

reduces the up-and-down temperatures and hot and cold spots typically associated with fixed-capacity systems.

That tradition continues with the Model 574 packaged

gas/electric variable speed comfort system with Puron® refrigerant. The Bryant Model 574 delivers consistent, year round comfort, combining the strengths of electric cooling and gas heating in one reliable package. Offering 13 SEER

(Seasonal Electrical Efficiency Ratio) cooling and 80% AFUE

(Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) heating, this product

easily meets the EPA’s Energy Star program requirements for reduced energy consumption. Add the environmentally

sound cooling provided by Puron refrigerant, and the

full backing of Bryant, and it’s easy to see why the Model 574 makes such an excellent choice for your comfort.

With the addition of a Bryant Thermidistat Control, the Model 574 can provide up to 30 times better dehumidification while cooling than a standard system. The Model 574 delivers the airflow and

air cleaning benefits of constant fan operation while using significantly less electricity than standard models. Fixed speed systems are limited to “full-on” bursts of comfort, followed by “fulloff” periods of inactivity and inconsistent temperatures.

For even greater comfort, our optional ThermidistatTM Control allows

you to create a seven-day comfort schedule customized to match your

lifestyle. It monitors temperature and humidity inside AND outside, then adjusts system performance to achieve optimum comfort. During the summer months, you’ll enjoy the “Cool to Dehumidify” function that allows your system to dehumidify without overcooling your home. And, with the addition of an optional Bryant humidifier, this system

can replenish moisture to dry, static filled air during the heating season.

sound answer for the future phase out of Freon®-22*, the refrigerant most commonly used in today’s residential air conditioners. As supplies of Freon-22 become less plentiful, the costs to service products dependent on that refrigerant will increase. All of our time-tested heating and cooling components are housed in a durable and attractive cabinet and mounted on a rust-free composite base.
