Buddy Ebsen is perhaps best-known in modern times for his role as Jed Clampett in the hit TV series The Beverly Hillbillies. Also as roles as Davy Crockett's sidekick George Russel, and as Barnaby Jones, the famous detective.

BUDDY EBSEN 1952 STATE FAIR MUSICAL PROGRAM with BUDDY performing as The Scarecrow of Oz, Two Baum Bugles with death articles about Jack Haley and Ray Bolger
1952 State Fair Musical program of The Wizard of Oz, with Buddy starring as The Scarecrow and Marilyn Day as Dorothy, Hiram Scherman as The Cowardly Lion and Maria Tall chief as The Sorceress of The North. There are full page articles and large photos of each performer within as well as other information. More of the cast includes:
Anita Bolster as Aunt Em, Louis Veda Qunce as Uncle Henry, Anita Bolster as the Wicked Witch of The North, Erik Rhodes as The Tin Woodman and Joe E. Marks as The Wizard of Oz.
A great item from Buddy's collection. Also in his collection were two issues of The Baum Bugle from Autumn 1979 which has an article about the death of Jack Haley and an issue from Spring 1987 which has an article about the death of Ray Bolger.
These are interesting association items, coming from the library of Buddy Ebsen.
