Buddy Rogers Signed Paper Autograph 11-17-39

I guess the only piece of paper the fan had was a To-Do list. He got Buddy's signature though and dated it on the bottom. Buddy Rogers debuted in the silent film Wings (1927) and won the first-ever Oscar as best picture. That same year the actor who would be known at the peak of his popularity as "America's Boyfriend" was paired with "America's Sweetheart", Mary Pickford, in My Best Girl. In 1937, Rogers became Pickford's third and last husband. Note pad measures about 2" x 4 3/4".

I have recently acquired several signatures dating from the late 1930's early 40's. The former owner was military and traveled with the service thru the mid 40's. Check out my other auctions for more great deals.
