Buffy the Vampire Slayer screen used prop $1 bill  ~  Paper money can be seen in many episodes of Buffy but not often clearly enough to identify the type of prop money used. However, in season six, episode six, All the Way, after Xander announces his engagement to Anya, she tosses a pile of bills to Dawn and says, "Here, have some money." As the bills flutter down and while Dawn is briefly shown holding them they can clearly be identified as $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills (see my photos below) from the series Reed type #MA40 shown on page 518-519 of the massive movie money catalog Show Me the Money.

In the photos a $1 can be seen just about chest height (upside down) on Dawn in the top photo and the back of a $1 is seen in Dawn's right hand in the bottom photo. I cannot say that this is one of the very bills that Dawn is holding but it is one of the same type from the same series acquired from the same property house.

These bills were also used in the 1997 Johnny Depp drama The Brave by Majestic Films International as well as The Man Who Wasn't There (1983) and Dead Presidents (1995). There were probably other films from the same period. Reed type #MA40b Motion Picture Use Only $1 Series 1935E Serial #S991287046L found on page 518 of Show Me the Money. This is a small (2 5/8 x 6 1/8) banknotes on greenish paper. It has the inscription Motion Picture Use Only. This note show very light signs of use but is still nice.

I collect movie curency and all items I sell are duplicates from my own collection. Because I often buy group lots and larger numbers of bills in order to get pieces for my collection I can't transfer original COAs. However, all authentic motion picture prop money that I sell comes with a warranty stating its authenticity.
