Purple Coneflower Seeds

Scientific Names: Echinacea Purpurrea.

Common Name: Purple Coneflower.

Plant duration: Perennial.

Self-sowing: Yes.

Origin: The plains of North America.

Hardiness: Quite hardy and can stand drought conditions.

Zone: 3-9.

Region of cultivation: Any.

Soil type: Any fertile and well drained soil such as, sandy or any other light soil. Try avoiding heavy clayey soil.

Soil humidity: Moderate to low.

Soil temperature: 70 to 75 degrees.

Seed sowing spacing: 6-14 inches.

Seed sowing depth: 1/8 inches below the soil surface.

Seed sowing time: March to May.

Seed germination: 2-4 weeks from the time the seeds are sown.
