Bushido Creed Japanese Calligraphy wall scroll kanji

This is not a print 'Bushido' is translated today as 'the way of the warrior'. It originates from the era of the Samurai in Japan when such beliefs were held stong within the warrior class. This particular kanji comes with the addition of the Samurai creed, the values that they believed in. Around the bushido are the words: loyalty, honour, truth, respect, duty and honesty.

This is a truly unique piece and one which the artist has worked hard to complete with grace and balance, a task not always easy when so many kanji are involved. The most delightful aspect of this calligraphy we feel is the way the brush strokes have really made themselves evident. This work is provided on a unique 3ft scroll made from textured paper rice paper that is interwoven with subtle strands of thinner paper. This calligraphy also comes with an English translation card of all the symbols shown. Give this to someone as a truly unique gift.
