BUTTERFLY KISSES
The artists of BTDL™ (Better Than Doing Laundry) are constantly supporting and challenging each other to creating art that will be treasured and cherished for ages to come. While each and every piece we make is a work of "heart", we thought it would be fun to challenge each other to create a piece that pulls out all the stops! Goes beyond the distance, raises the bar so high a giant could limbo under it, detailed to the last drop-dead-gorgeous... and as a result, "Masterpiece Mondays" were born. This is the night where BTDL™ artists list a piece they have dreamed of for months, sweated over all week, and held nothing back in the attempt to knock you off your seat!
This IS a Masterpiece~! I am so happy with this layout and you will be proud to show off your beautiful photos on these pages.
I have used so many wonderful accents on these pages. The new DCWV Butterflies and Blossoms stack, lots of Prima flowers, rhinestones, brads from Doodlebug and K&co, beautiful sparkling chipboard butterflies, lush velvet ribbons, a handmade polymer clay mushroom bead, metal accents and so much more. ENJOY!
Each of my pieces / layouts are completely handmade by me. I pay meticulous attention to detail and take all the time needed to make sure that my piecings are perfect. I have been scrapbooking for many years now and it is my passion. I hope my piecings insprire you to create your own little works of art. There are 5 mats on the pages, the smaller ones can be used for photos or journaling.

page one has a large mat (5x7) and a smaller mat (3.5x3.5).

How sweet is this little one? Her bow with rhinestone flower matches the background paper perfectly!

This mat has been inked and sewn, then embellished with lots of flowers and accents.

The upper grouping of flowers on page one - beautiful Primas with fabric covered brads for centers, accented with pearls and a sparkly butterfly.

the accent at the bottom of the large mat has been attached in such a way that your photo will slide right under it. There is a small bookplate accent that would be the perfect place to add a date.

This mat has been embellished with a rhinestone slide, lush velvet ribbons and gorgeous flowers.

A beautiful hand made polymer clay bead dangles from the ribbons on this mat.
