C.I.J. Tin Toy Renault Truck 1920's Original condition

You are bidding on a vintage Renault tin wind up toy truck.  Painted in blue with yellow markings.  This model was made around the 1920's by a French toy company that went by the letters C.I.J.  C.I.J stood for Compagnie Industrielle de Jouet.  The original Renault decals are still on the bottom of the truck (see photos).  Above the windshield is Travaux Publics in black bold letters (painted on).  On the sides of the hood it is painted Renault in yellow with the letters in blue.  Also on the driver's side front fender is a yellow square with TD in black.  The dump mechanism still works, as does the wind up motor, but there is no key for the motor.  The dump bed needs to be re-soldiered to the dump frame, but should not be a difficult job to do.  The hard rubber tires are flat spotted, from years of sitting in a French attic.  It looks like the headlights are missing, as there are mounting holes in the fenders.  The tail gate is also missing.  The model was made so that only the driver's side door opens, and the latch is still working.  The truck is about 8 inches wide and 16 inches long.  It stands about 8 inches tall.  A very rare piece, to have survived WWII.  A fair reserve is set on this model.  I will not take offers on this model.
 
I charge what UPS charges me.  I ship via UPS via GROUND so that I have a tracking number.  If this is not acceptable to you, please do not bid.  You can check to see what your shipping will be at the UPS web site.  My zip code here is 48009.   For INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ONLY I do send via First Class International Mail.  There is no shipping charges for LOCAL Pickup.  Thank you.

Domestic shipping:
I ship items using UPS, so that I have a tracking number.

Tracking or insurance is included in the shipping price.
Local pickup available upon request.

International shipping:
When I ship products using USPS, therefore International shipping can take up to 30 days for your item to be delivered.
Please, be aware of your local customs office for details on how you can claim items if your package has been delayed longer than 15 days above normal delivery time.
