Layered colors provide beautiful hues- Impasto knife technique. My paintings are an original creative process from start to finish.
Title:FERNS" SIZE:18" x 54 or larger. THREE Gallery Wrapped Canvases with painted edges each measuring 18" x24" . This painting is filled with color and has wonderful texture and color layering. This painting has intensely saturated colors and nicely layered paint. The saturated colors are layered using both brushes and a pallete knife. This layering process is the reason my paintings have a vibrant bright quality.
Nature and the beautiful South Carolina landscape figure prominently in my compositions whether Still Life Fruit, Floral Scenes or Landscape Paintings. LOW RESERVE!!!!!! This painting is varnished for protection. My style is best described as ABSTRACT IMPRESSIONIST.
I use high quality oil paint and gallery wrapped canvases. The canvases are gallery wrapped with painted sides and may be framed or displayed without additional framing.
