Here is a beautiful hand painted oriental master salt from Japan with a hand painted inside leaf border and a double ring border around the foot.  All the borders are in dark blue. The front panel is brown and the bamboo leaves are in tan. It measures 1 5/8 inches tall by 3 3/16 inch in diameter. There are no chips, cracks or other damage. It appears to have seen little if any use. Prior to 1890, these pieces were not required to be marked.  We are pleased to offer this 130-year-old master salt with NO RESERVE and with the opportunity to Buy It Now.
