Here is a lovely and dainty English porcelain master salt in the shape of a miniature jardinière. It is very like the one shown on page 78, #1311, and page 93 as #1763 in 5000 Open Salts by Heacock and Johnson. This piece has no chips or cracks and is  from before it would have had to be marked in response to the McKinley Tariff of 1890.  It measures just less than 2 inches across the opening and 2 inches tall. The gold décor is hand painted, and there is a green band top and bottom. In addition there is a number “107” in gold on the base. This exquisite antique porcelain open salt is offered with NO RESERVE and with the opportunity to Buy It Now.
