This is a C1902 Printed Instructional cotton Handkerchief BIRDS measuring 11 1/4"" x 11" and is of American origin. It is a cotton instructional handkerchief of various kinds of birds depicting a peacock as the central motif with a wooden fence border around the flock. The fabric is a thin weight cotton. The narrow border hems are machine stitched all the way around. There is a dark stain to the top left corner and a couple of other very light age discoloration spots.
