DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Evening Gown has a pink acetate lining with nylon tricot shirred overdress. The shirred midriff and ribbon tails are made of taffeta. There is a blue net petticoat attached to the skirt. This gorgeous gown appears to be homemade but is exquisitely crafted. It has a Talon Nylon zipper which would date it in the mid 60's, but the styling is earlier.........it's possible it was made in the mid 60's from an earlier pattern. I just don't know. I do know that it is in excellent condition with no rips or tears or stains and even the little thread loops for the hooks over the zipper are intact.

Measurements for bust, waist and hip are taken with garment laying flat and then doubled. Sleeve length is measured from center back of collar to hem of sleeve. Shoulder is measured across shoulders from seam to seam.
