He died in 2003.
"DEBUTANTE" is a beautiful paperweight which was released in 1996 in three colours. This is 'azure'. Swirls of deep sea blue and white are topped by a thick coating of glittery gold which catches fire in the light. It is just beautiful.
Caithness Glass is known throughout the world for high quality paperweights and artglass. Since their inception in 1961 they have taken their inspiration from the colours of the Scottish landscape - warm peaty tones, purple heather , golden sunsets, the grey blue of the lochs.
In 1968 they added glass engraving to their skills and in 1969 they developed innovative techniques for producing abstract paperweights. Today, over 30 years later, their paperweight studios in Perth combine the finest design and traditional skills to create pieces which are entirely unique and they are now justifiably regarded as one of the world's most respected producers of museum-quality paperweights.
Caithness Glass paperweights are made to exacting quality standards. Due to the handmade nature of their products no two paperweights will ever be the same and you may find slight differences between pieces. This is not a flaw but your assurance that your piece has been individually handcrafted by a skilled glassmaker in their Perth studio.
Shipping and Handling Details:
• Orders are shipped within 12-32 hours of payment clearing. If we have problems with your order, we will contact you ASAP.
• Delivery confirmation included for all packages (EXCEPT GREETING CARDS). This is proof of delivery accepted by eBay and PayPal.
• Please contact us for help if you have not received your package 14 days from shipping date.
• We are not responsible for delivery of your item. We are only responsible for packaging your order and hiring USPS to deliver your package. USPS does not guarantee delivery times.
Returns & Exchanges:
• Defective item(s) or incorrect item(s) will be exchanged at no cost to buyer.
• Contact us for return instructions.
• Item(s) must be returned first before we ship out the replacement. We will accept deposits for immediate shipping.
• We reserve the right to deny returns if unfavorable feedback is left before contacting us.
