this speakers were originally called Rega and were made by Edon (founders Ed and Don) Acoustics in Ottawa. Edon Acoustics was a distributor of audio products back then ( Rega, Meridian...). They also owned a store called Studio Sound in Ottowa
THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL – These are the same used as CBC for studio monitors...
Camber 3.5ti, MADE IN OTTAWA in 1988, using Rega's (England) know-how, under contract with CBC for studio monitoring use.
SOUND IS AMAZING - VERY PRECISE, SMOOTH, 3-DIMENSIONAL AND MUSICAL! THEY PLAY LIKE BRAND NEW
Camber was the distributor of Rega Electronics in Canada at the time, and the same people who designed these speakers have founded Definitive Technologies.
These speakers sound better than modern-day Paradigm, Energy, KEF, cheap B&W or Acoustic Energy. The drivers are Made in France by Audax (Polydax trademark) - 6.5" Bextrene die-cast metal basket woofer and 1" cloth tweeter.
