** I AM ENTIRELY SELF-TAUGHT & SELF-REPRESENTING **

*** Canada Geese have always been one of my favorite birds. When I took this photograph I knew immediately why I would paint it. Aside from their striking beauty and grace, I just love the sense of family and togetherness that they portray. Whether they're flying in a V-formation or grazing on land or in water, they stick together and are always in constant communication with one another. When seperate gaggles congregate they get along and share food sources with no real altercations, all the while respectfully introducing themselves to one another. I believe that these magnificent majestic birds, if studied by each one of us, could teach us humans as a society in whole how to NATURALLY act towards, care about, honour and treat each other... regardless of who we are or where we come from. Some of the things I liked about the water were of course the reflections, colors, flow and gentle movement. It reminded that we should all take time to reflect on what we have in each other, that we are all headed in the same direction, and that with all the up's and down's we face in this color-filled God-given world that we live in, we need to get along, stick together, and also that there REALLY IS enough of everything to go around if we could all just share. LOVE IS ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS. ***

I will require the name, address, and phone number of the winning bidder, so that I can keep full account of my collected originals. I may possibly, from time-to-time, request to borrow any such originals from collectors on the honour system, so that I may enter them into juried shows and exhibitions (of course, I would pay for shipping and insurance both ways). I would hope that any serious collector can appreciate and honour this. Full credit and thanks would of course be given, on my behalf, in the collector's name(s) (with permission) in either juries, exhibitions, or books.
