This lens is in EXCELLENT condition. I test all my items prior to listing them on eBay. I have tested this lens on my Canon Rebel XT 350D and Canon 30D Digital Cameras as well as Canon EOS1V and EOS 3 film cameras, and has given excellent results.

Just in time for FALL SEASON (OUTDOOR OR INDOOR) PHOTOGRAPHY: CANON EF 50mm f/1:1.8 MK1 Autofocus Compact Metal Mount Sturdily Built Prime Lens with Front and Rear Caps. Made in JAPAN. The picture is of the actual item that the winner will receive. This is not the EF 50mm MarkII lens made out of all plastic material.

This lens works with ALL Canon EF Mount EOS DIGITAL as well as FILM CAMERAS.

This is one of the VERY GOOD PRIME LENS: EXCELLENT FOR CLOSE-UP PHOTOGRAPHY UNDER EVEN VERY LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. FYI, I have included here some varieties of pictures (flowers, vegetables and a boy) taken with this lens with Canon 30D Digital Camera.

"This is one of the most popular lenses, having a long history as a standard lens. Compact and lightweight lens with orthodox 6 elements in 5 groups. High image quality with a good balance of aberration correction is obtained throughout the entire focusing range from the closest focusing distance of 0.45m to infinity. Micro-motor operated AF system. This lens was improved to become the model II by simplifying the focusing distance window and manual focus ring".

The lens is very clean with signs of some wear from normal use (simply means it is used). I will wrap the lens very carefully to protect it during shipping. Shipping cost includes insurance.
