This lens has a range of 75mm to 300mm (extreme telephoto) with an aperture speed of f/4 to 5.6. One of the best and most powerful zoom lenses for the Canon EOS family of cameras. It will work with all CANON EOS Autofocus film cameras as well as Canon Digital SLR Cameras.
This is a genuine Canon brand lens so it will work with all Canon AF 35mm film cameras as well as all Canon DIGITAL SLR Cameras! In fact, with Canon digital SLR cameras you will get an amazing zoom range of 100-450mm instead of 75-300mm (except on the Canon 5D full-frame digital SLR where you will get the original 75-300mm zoom range)
Condition: This lens is in GREAT condition, all lens markings are in perfect shape.
The body has a heavy, metal mount. This is a BIG lens (look at the pictures). It is not one that you can throw in your purse but if you are interested in serious long-range photography of birds, animals etc. this is a superb lens for you. The range of 75mm to 300mm also covers the perfect setting for portrait photography, which is right around 90mm to about 120mm. So this one lens will cover just about any type of photography that you may be interested in.
Accessories: The lens comes with both lens caps.
