Cast in BRONZE in the lost wax process and has a wood base, signed by the artist. Each piece will have different patinas
Artist: Carlos Estevez, an Austin TX, USA - based artist, works in an ancient tradition, but with a very modern approach. His realistic style echoes the works of the early master sculptors in its bold expression and figures are more natural, Carlos succeed to capture the life-force of his subjects in full swing, stopping time for an instant.
Carlos’ figures are incredibly lifelike selected works, seem always on the verge of movement an instant away from action. Fine details as the texture and directions of hair, prominent veins, and the bone, muscle, and tendon structure behind the surface. You can also see and touch such intricate details as eyelashes and nose, and individual shapes of the faces -those elements that contribute to each horse 's unique individuality- combines to produce an arresting quality that compels one to take a closer look, waiting for the sculpture to come to life.

The shipping cost is paid by the purchaser. We ship UPS or USPS if requested. Insurance is required. If you would like to pick up yourself at the studio please contact us for information.
