Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a china small gravy or sauce boat and underplate by Carltonware. It is from the Saladware line.

Both pieces are marked on the back Carlton Ware MADE IN ENGLAND "TRADEMARK" REGISTERED AUSTRALIAN DESIGN REGISTRATION APPLIED FOR. There also are a couple handpainted marks and an imprinted #2096 on the bottom of the plate.

The plate measures approx. 5 1/2" by 3 3/4" at its widest points, and sits 3/4" high at the edge. The gravy boat is approx. 5 3/8" across from the spout to the handle, and sits 2 1/16" high at the spout

It is in excellent condition. No chips, damage, or repair. There are some minor glaze imperfections, pitting, and discoloration. This is to be expected in an antique handpainted piece. There is some all over crazing on both inside and outside and also on the bottom of the plate. You can see some of this in the supersized images.
