Jean Hahn is a southern artist who specializes in portraits of people and animals done in pastel or oil. The paintings are originals done from sitting models or photographs taken by the artist of animals and pets on her farm.

           Her work has spanned over four decades and has garnered awards and acclaim in the south east. recently her focus has been on carousel animal wood carvings. Many of the paintings come from scenes Jean viewed in her extensive travels around the world.
