CARVED JASPER RATTLESNAKE RATTLES BEAD

Hand carved Rattlesnake Rattles!

This unique bead is carved from brecciated jasper. Sometimes called Poppy Jasper, This beautiful stone was formed by deposits of red and other colors of jasper stone that were broken in geologic upheavals, and rejoined under pressure to form this beautiful pattern. It also is believed by some cultures to protect the wearer, promote healing, and even enhance friendly interaction with animals!

This reproduction of a rattlesnake rattle measures just over 2 inches long; it has been drilled with a 2mm hole transversally through the long axis of the top, perfect for hanging on a necklace.
