"Prince Elementary School is an inner-city public school nestled in some of the lowest cost housing of Tucson, Arizona; without much active parent participation to initiate and support fundraisers. 97% of our students receive a free breakfast and lunch and usually have only a single parent or grandparent caring for them. Prince has an excellent, qualified and dedicated staff, but our kids need more than they receive in a normal school day. They need regular field trips beyond their "walk to school" neighborhoods. They need tutoring and mentoring programs before and after school. They need up-to-date playground equipment and take home books. A majority of our children come from homes where incarceration of a family member is the norm rather than the exception. With both budget cuts and classroom sizes increasing, we want to give our kids a chance to experience more and reach beyond what they can already grasp."

The cost to have the items GIA or PSA-DNA certified is too cost prohibitive for the school. However, we have no reason to believe that these items were done or signed by anyone other than the celebrity who was sent the solicitation letter, if they were too busy or uninterested in our fund-raising project, they were not required to respond in any way to our solicitation letters,  and so we most gratefully thank all the contributors for their thoughtfulness and effort on behalf of Prince Elementary School. Their contributions are varied and amazing. Many include hand signed notes, or have included "Prince" in their artwork, as well as including signed photos. Where possible we will include any original solicitation letters that have been returned with the artwork or return envelopes with the celebrity addresses, or at least legible postmarks - not all items have these but where possible they will be included.
