Newspaper editor Walter Burns (Cary
Grant) finds out that his ex-wife and ace reporter Hildy (Rosalind Russell) is
planning to marry another man and leave her job. He persuades her to do one more
story, an interview with a convicted murderer. All hell breaks loose as
supporters of the criminal get caught up in total mayhem. A great performance
from Grant who is at his comic best.
