CAS SASS COWBOY WESTERN PONDEROSA BONANZA LEATHER VEST

Doesn’t this vest make you think of the one Lorne Green wore as he portrayed “Ben Cartwright” on the TV show Bonanza as he rode the Ponderosa range?

This particular rig is from the collection/estate of a former part-time western stuntman/actor who had it for use in Exhibition shooting, Fast Draw, Old West type shootouts, and Parades, some Western acting, and Bonanza recreations, and was as close as could be found to the one Lorne Green wore on Bonanza without having an expensive one custom made. It’s obviously not an exact copy but it worked.

( Please look at all the photos ). There is no label inside, and no size given, tho the way it fits me I’d say its a 40. It is a un-notched lapel style and has two outside pockets, none inside, and will only snap closed at the bottom.

The lapels are fake, the leather pieces were cut and stitched to look real, and the left one has marks and holes from having badges pinned on it, ( Please look at all the photos ).

Here are the measurements snap closed at the bottom: across the top is approx16 inches, across the underarms is approx 20 inches, across the waist is approx 20 inches, and from the top of the back to the bottom of the Vest is approx 22 inches.

Please double check your size to make sure this would fit you before you bid as I can’t be responsible for something that doesn’t fit you!

This would be a great piece for someone in SASS CAS cowboy shooting sports, or just for the collector, and as you look at the photos just think how much better it will look on you as you ride the Ponderosa range, or at “The End of The Trail”, chasing the “Bad Guys”, at “The Festival of the West”, or on display!!!!
