This sale is being conducted for the purpose of disposing of surplus property no longer useful to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Payment for auction items (other than motor vehicles) must be received within 5 business days from the close of the auction.

WE NOW accept Pay-Pal. All property sold must be paid by personal check, certified or cashier's check (cash in person only). Checks are to be made out to the Kentucky State Treasurer. We do reserve the right to hold the winning item(s) for 10 business days before we ship the item(s) to allow personal checks to clear their financial institutions.

We will be glad to ship your winning item to you once we have received payment for the winning item. In addition to the winning bid amount, please include 6% sales tax with your payment if you are a resident of KY or if you, or a representative on your behalf, will be picking up your winning item(s) at our warehouse. A shipping and handling fee will also be required. The shipping and handling amount can be ESTIMATED on our eBay auction page. You can still send a prepaid self addressed shipping container for your item. There will not be a S&H fee if the item(s) are picked up at our warehouse.

Property is sold as-is and where is. Some items may have broken, worn badly, or missing parts. There is absolutely no guarantee on any item. We will try to give you the best description possible for each item. The winning bid shall be considered an agreement to buy and is final.

Except for motor vehicles, 6% sales tax must be added to and be paid on each item sold if you are a resident of KY or if you, or a representative on your behalf, will be picking up your winning item(s) at our warehouse unless exempt. These amounts will be added to the winning bid and will be included in the total purchase price paid by the buyer to the seller. Winning Bid + Kentucky State Sales Tax + Shipping and handling = Total Purchase Price.

If the purchaser has a valid resale tax ID number, a copy must be sent or presented with payment. Farmers purchasing farm equipment must inform Surplus Property of their status.

If you are awarded the bid for this equipment, please send a printout copy of your Ebay notification of award, name and phone number, along with either a Personal Check, Cashier's Check or made payable to the Kentucky State Treasurer, to the Division of Surplus Property, 999 Chenault Rd., Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. Please include 6% Kentucky Sales Tax in the amount of payment, if you are a resident of KY or if you, or a representative on your behalf, will be picking up your winning item(s) at our warehouse unless exempt. If you or your business has a sales tax exemption certificate, you must include a copy of this with your payment or the tax amount will be assessed. The certificate number itself is not sufficient.

After the Division of Surplus Property has received payment in full, you will have five (5) working days to remove all the equipment sold.  All equipment sold "as-is" and "where-is". The Commonwealth of Kentucky makes absolutely no warranty on any equipment sold.
