It is new and never been used, sharpened or carried. It is 4 1/8 inches long closed. The Blades are Damascus Steel. Damascus blades are made by welding together a few hundred layers of hard and soft steel and then etch in acid. The acid attacks the hard and soft steels at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers of hard and soft give more flexibility and toughness to the steel, and the hard and soft in the edge act much like serrations and aid cutting. The beautiful patterns in the Damascus blades are unmatched! The handles are Mediterranean Blue Jigged Bone. It has a Nickel Silver Case Bowtie Inlay Shield. The Nickel Silver Bolsters are stamped with the long tail CASE "C" and Individual Serial Number.. It comes with a Lifetime Warranty.
