You are bidding on an extremely lightly formerly enjoyed Castello "Collection" series straight "Billiard" shaped pipe that was hand crafted in Italy in the mid 1970's.  This "KK"graded pipe possesses a beautiful natural smooth flame grain finish.

This pipe is in outstanding condition for its age, as it has had only one owner, who had originally purchased this pipe in the late 1970's and very shortly thereafter, gave up the hobby. This pipe has been sitting in storage for almost thirty years!

The overall balance is very nice. The hand feel is comfortable. The draft is nice and easy, like that of a contemporary Castello pipe. A pipe cleaner will effortlessly glide to the bottom of the bowl.

I have lightly but carefully and thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, rejuvenated, and polished this pipe to an absolutely pristine and issue free condition both inside and out. This took no time at all, since this pipe was in absolutely pristine condition when I had received it. It is truly ready to deliver immediate enjoyment right out of the box. (The only minor issue that I can see is that there is a gap that is less than the thickness of a sheet of paper between the stem and the shank. No big deal, but I like to point these things out.) Here are the dimensions of this beautiful Italian high grade pipe: The overall length is about 5.95”. The bowl height is 2.125". The tobacco chamber is about 0.825” in diameter and gradually tapers down the bowl’s 1.75” inner depth. This pipe possesses a Dunhill Group ODA  size pipe capacity. The weight is 50 grams.
