Yowah opals are a variety of Boulder Opal. Yowah opals are rounded pebbles of sandstone impregnated with Precious Opal and come from Yowah opal field, Queensland, Australia. This is one opal you won't find in every jewelry store.
This stone is a lovely specimen with a beautiful showing of the opal on one side but also quite unique and pretty on the other side as well. The stone has great polish on all sides and I thought what a great reversible pendant it would make so that's exactly what I did. This pendant is truly one of a kind and will never be reproduced.
The size is 3/4" wide by 2 1/8" long including the generous bail.
Although these settings appear quite delicate, you can rest assured that the stone is very secure!
Neckwire is not included but available in several sizes in my store.
