The same holds true for the Three Sprirituals: “Nobody Knows,” “Deep River,” and “Chariot Dance.” The lion’s share of the original material on this CD is bluesy and mellow—suitable for quiet listening. What I can say with assurance is that this is a great CD to put your feet up to and “chill” by. Wehr who plays a Yamaha piano, has a velvet touch, no doubt aided by the engineering.
