This miniature vase was made from the wood of a Russian Olive. Thought not often seen turned or in furniture this wood turns nicely and have a very charming and warm appeal. It shows a very pleasing & pretty grain pattern that reminds me of American Chesntut.
The vase was turned by hand and polished to a satin sheen, which brings out the beauty in the wood. It is hollow with a large tapered mouth opening and concave foot. It would be a nice vase for a flower arrangement or just as a display vase.
I accept PayPal, Money Orders, or Checks. Checks must clear before shipping. Payment in US Funds must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction. Shipping within the United States is $2.50 for USPS First Class Mail, plus the cost of optional insurance. I ship my miniatures securely packed in a sturdy box, however insurance is recommended, if available.
Bidders from Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan are welcome and encouraged to bid in my miniature auctions, with shipping via uninsured USPS International First Class Mail. Customs forms will be properly completed. Shipping to Canada is $3.00 and to Europe, Australia, or Japan is $5.00.
The cost for any other international rates for shipping or other services will vary. If you are not in a country in the areas listed above, please email me for shipping information prior to bidding. Any quotes will be given in and payment will be expected in US funds.
I will combine shipping for multiple wins of miniature auctions and if you desire, I will delay shipping for several days for your convenience. You only have to pay one shipping charge per shipment regardless of the number of miniatures enclosed.
