This auction is for CDV-715 Model 1A Ion chamber Radiation Detector . I recently acquired several of these sets at a state of Kansas surplus property sale. The date on some of the components indicates that they are from the 1970's some back to the 60's. I believe that the set has rarely been out of it's box, perhaps only for calibration and radiation disaster drills. The components are in good condition cosmetically, the outside and inside are in okay condition. I have opened the watertight #715 components and the "D" cell batteries have been rightfully removed before storage (no batteries included). Beyond testing that the circuit check. I have not tested the components other then that, and this is not my area expertise. Therefore, I must offer this set "as-is" with no guarantees. However, even though they are 40 year old components from the cold war era, I'm sure this is going to be an exciting find for many bidders.
