Usually I don't call photos of toddler girls, "Elegant", but I think this one fits the bill. This is an older CDV type photo. The style of the photo, clothing, hairstyle, etc. suggests a circa Civl War Era date for this photo (c1860s). This was taken by "F. Forshew, Hudson, NY". This photo measures approx. 2.5"x 4", a standard CDV size. This little girl's (I would guess her mom) took care to make sure she was immaculate, beautifully dressed, with every hair in place. This little girl,even at her young age seems also to have natural poise of her own. I like the period stool and the little girl's hat is placed on the stool. This photo has minor, normal expected wear, and the bottom right edge has some very minor damage and the other corners are a bit "bumped". I consider this photo in overall good condition for its age, and a nice, clean, period photo of this pretty little girl. Since this came from a private family album so long ago, it is likely unique. Chances are that if you would like a vintage example of this photo, especially anytime soon, you will likely need to get it here. I am pleased to offer this appealing old CDV photo for consideration.
