12) (SKITCH HENDERSON (1918-2005)-American Musician - Signed 8"X10" Photo) SKITCH HENDERSON (1918-2005) American musician--pianist, conductor, composer. In a career at NBC spanning 1951 to 1966, Henderson succeeded Toscanini as music director for NBC Television and was the original conductor of the orchestras for The Tonight Show and The Today Show. After leaving NBC, he forged a career as a conductor of numerous symphonic orchestras throughout the world. In 1983 he founded the New York Pops orchestra. On January 29, 2005, the Smithsonian Institution awarded him the James Smithson Bicentennial Medal in recognition of his contributions to American culture. He passed away in October, 2006. During the late 1960s and 1970s, she was one of the five singing members of the R&B group, The Fifth Dimension. The group's first big hit was 1967's "Up, Up, and Away", which won four 1968 Grammy Awards. Their follow-up was "Stoned Soul Picnic." 45 (JIMMY DEAN (1928-) - American Country Singer & Entrepreneur - Signed Card) JIMMY DEAN (1928-) is an American singer, actor, and businessman. Dean became a professional entertainer in the late 1940s. He became the host of the popular Washington D.C. TV program Town and Country Time and, with his Texas Wildcats, became favorites in the region. He had his first hit, "Bummin' Around," in 1953. In 1950s he hosted another TV variety show for CBS and signed with Columbia Records. He became best known for his 1961 song "Big Bad John" that went to No.1 on the Billboard charts. The song won Dean the 1962 Grammy Award for Best Country & Western Recording. He had several more Top 40 songs including a Top 10 in 1962 with "PT 109". In the early 1960s he also hosted the Tonight Show on occasion. His mid-1960s ABC television variety show was one of the first to present country music entertainers with dignity and class, on their terms. He began to dabble in acting in the late 1960s, with his best-known role being that of millionaire Willard Whyte in the 1971 James Bond movie, Diamonds Are Forever. She has appeared on the cover of Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Time, and Vogue. She is best known, however, for her long-running affiliation with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which featured her on the cover in 1970, 1975 and 1983. The 1978 poster of her in a pink bikini became an iconic 1970s pop culture image. 49 (RICARDO MONTALBAN (1920-2009) - Mexican/American Actor - Signed Card) RICARDO MONTALBAN (1920-) Mexican/American actor. Among television viewers, Ricardo Montalban is remembered as Mr. Roarke, the mysterious host of Fantasy Island (1978-1984), and as a pitchman for the "rich Corinthian leather" of the luxury Chrysler Cordoba. Montalban was one of a handful of Latin leading men who broke into Hollywood movies in the 1950s and 1960s, though he was often cast as an Arab, a Native American or in other ethnic roles. Montalban also played creepy superdude Khan, Captain Kirk's nemesis in a famous episode of TV's Star Trek and in a 1982 movie, The Wrath of Khan. His hits include "Gentle on My Mind", "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" and "Rhinestone Cowboy". In 2005, Campbell was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
