Cetate is the Romanian word meaning "fortress" or "citadel" in English. Many castles, but also wines in this country are named "Cetate". The name is also used by several hotels and sport clubs, mainly soccer and gymnastics.

The domain name used to be used for the first and most popular gymnastics websites ever, named Cetate World Gymnastics. It was named after Romania's most important gymnastics club in the city of Deva. Many Olympic stars, like for example perfect-10 gymnast Nadia Comaneci used to be at this club. The owner and founder of Cetate World Gymnastics retired the website a few years ago and is no longer interested in keeping it.

It may be a great domain name for the many wines, hotels and sport clubs in Romania, or importers of wine outside the country.

The domain name by itself is already interesting, due to the fact it only has 5 characters, and is very close to the often used word "acetate", which is broadly used in chemistry. Just one typo and someone could visit cetate.com instead of acetate.com.

The domain name will be transferred for free to any GoDaddy.com account. Due to the high fees PayPal charges I no longer accept this form of payment. I do directly accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards through a secure website.
