  • Dual Axis Motors : This is a great dual axis motorized equatorial mount. The motors are battery operated, so no need to run an extension cord back to the house or into the car. Plus 6 AA batteries are included, for about 40 hours of telescope tracking time. The batteries are placed in the remote hand controller, which minimizes the number of cables needed to power the drives. The drive motors can be set at four different variable speeds, 2x, 4x, 8x, and 16x, and can be set for Northern or Southern Hemisphere rotation. Counter weights and everything pictured is included
  • 6 x 20 Polar Alignment Scope Built-In: Polar alignment is made simple with a 6 x 20 built-in polar alginment scope.
  • Steel Tripod is Included: This package includes the full-size stainless steel tripod that is pictured. This is a vastly stronger and more sturdy tripod than aluminum tripods you see elsewhere. Please note that the dovetail mounting plate pictured above is not included.
