This is a unique hybrid instrument designed to meet the demands of today's performing and recording musicians. A very comfortable grip, the 1 7/8" nut width and string spacing all contribute to an easy feel for steel string and electric guitar players. This is the ideal instrument for guitarists of all genres and techniques (fingerstyle, picking, strumming, etc.) looking for a nylon string guitar sound.

THE WOODS
Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)
Sitka Spruce makes a very strong, loud guitar top which has a balanced resonant sound famous for its midrange brightness and good sustain. It also shows a very strong tendency to improve with age, perhaps more than other woods. Because of its strength and toughness it is well suited for steel string acoustic guitars. It has even been used successfully for classical guitars. The color of Sitka Spruce ranges from white to pink to light brown. Some tops display a lot of color variation.
Marupá / Brazilian Bitterwood (Simarouba amara)
Marupá is a Brazilian exotic wood (not an endangered specie protected under CITES
regulations) with distinctive impressive sound. Light yellow color with straight grain pattern and medium/heavy density. Giannini is a pioneer in using alternative woods for guitar making and the Marupá has proved to be one the most stable and reliable choices specially for solid bodies.
