When multi-media artist Gerene Reid chatted with this charming couple after getting permission to photograph them in a neighborhood park, Grandpa confessed, rather proudly, that he'd taught his young granddaughter to play checkers, and now he was hard pressed to beat her at the game. The small original oil painting on canvas board was done later in the artist's studio, using the photo as reference.


CHALLENGE is offered framed in a gold-finished wooden frame with natural linen liner. The image size is 8" x 10", and the outside dimensions of the frame are 14" x 17".
