The pictures (all taken in natural daylight) speak for themselves!  This clock is in brand new condition!  For your consideration, a genuine US Government 6" DIAL Clock!  These clocks were generally used onboard US Naval Vessels.  The clock movement was made by Chelsea in Boston in December, 1943 (stamped on the movement is 421518).  The clock has just been FULLY RECONDITIONED by a former CHELSEA CLOCKMAKER (factory tech!) and keeps excellent time (accurate to within 10 seconds/week).  Clock is in such good shape, it begins running (after fully run down) in 3 key winds!  It takes 24-26 turns of the key to wind any Chelsea Key Clock.  As seen from the photos, the plates and all gold plated parts gleam like GOLD having been fully reconditioned!  It runs for over 12 days.  The clock is in FANTASTIC condition. The hinged bezel is closes perfectly on flawless cork seal.  Glass is perfect.  The dial is Ivory White and is PERFECT!  Comes with GENUINE Chelsea Winding Key (NOT a Chinese Reproduction!).  An excellent timekeeper.  (Make sure you get a fully serviced clock here on ebay!  Repairs for these at the factory typically run well in excess of $400.  It's better to buy the best one you can afford instead of trying to "fix up" a broken one.  A mechanical clock that doesn't keep accurate time isn't very useful!)  Chelsea clocks are still made in Boston, and remain THE STANDARD in mechanical clocks.  Many are still running perfectly after 100 years!  They are "The TIMEKEEPERS of the SEA!"  This is a rare 66 year old clock for the collector (no longer made) or for your first Chelsea!
