Coolers are exact replicas of the 1940's through 1950's all steel "six
pack" Temprite and Action picnic coolers. This is the Junior model,
the most popular of the collectible coolers.
Constructed using steel, aluminum and refrigeration type insulation, with
scratch and rust resistant finish (non-toxic, lead free) powder coating.
The unit features chrome corners on the top edge, a chrome handle and a
chrome-locking bar. There is a built-in bottle opener on the side. The original
coolers are embossed with the Famous Chevy Bowtie logo. The larger coolers
of the same vintage had many different names. Most model coolers have limited
production runs. If it says limited edition, when they're gone, that's really
the end of them.
These
unique products back with their original high quality metal construction
and eye pleasing design. The coolers look great in a game room, up on
a book shelf or in the back of a vintage car. They make great car show
or "cruise night" accessories. It's small size (14 h x 11.5
l x 9 h) makes it easy to take anywhere. The stylish design fits in at
any occasion, a picnic, ball game, drive-in movie, boating, camping and
much more.
