Book of Filial Piety:
This book is a Confucian treatise on filial piety, copied and illustrated by Chao Meng-Fu, famous calligrapher and painter of the Yuan Dynasty. Chao Meng-Fu (1254-1322), also known as "The Pine-snow Taoist," attained "the highest degree of perfection" in the calligraphy and paintings of this book.

The Text of Li Sao - The Autobiography of Ch'u Yuan:
The famous calligraphist MI Fei is responsible for painting/writing the 2400+ characters as they appear in this complete text of Li Sao - the autobiography of Ch'u Yuan, poet and statesman who died in 299 B.C. of the State of Ts'u. This reproduction is "precious to the art lovers the world over," as it is the first such reproduction of this album of MI Fei calligraphy. 

Book of Filial Piety: 44 pages, in yellow paperback bound with white thread. The Text of Li Sao - The Autobiography of Ch'u Yuan: 32 pages in yellow paperback bound with white thread. Hinges are secure. Text in Chinese, except for tissue-guards in English (see photos). Characters printed in b&w, with red accents. The textblocks are square. Mild wear to corners & edges of covers. Slight edgewear. In addition to beautiful calligraphy, Chao Meng-Fu's Book of Filial Piety also contains striking b&w illustrations.  [Quotes taken from English tissue-guards]
