A brand new luxury Chinese checkers set. The playing pieces ("marbles") are made of real gemstones -- a different stone for each color. The wooden board is finely finished and includes a drawer to store the pieces.

FINE GEMSTONE "MARBLES"

Please look at the gemstone playing pieces below -- they're truly beautiful. There are six different types of stones for the six colors:

ONYX
QUARTZ
AVENTURINE
ROSE QUARTZ
CARNELIAN and
JASPER

They measure 9/16 inch in diameter. Please see the close-ups below.
There is a natural variation in the tone and pattern of the individual pieces, and some variation in the exact size.

BEAUTIFUL WOODEN BOARD

The board is of a compact size, 11 1/2 inches from corner to corner, so the "marbles" sit snuggly together and stand out, showing their unique beauty.
It is made of pressed wood, with a fine rosewood surface and an elegantly molded edge. It is finished in a high gloss.
The pieces are stored in a long drawer, which runs the length of the board.
A felt-like flocking covers the bottom, so the board rests gracefully on the table surface.
